Public Art opportunity – Lunar New Year

Georges River Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from Asian-Australian artists/teams of artists for the creation and installation of a temporary public artwork in Hurstville Interchange Open Air Gallery to celebrate Lunar New Year, 2021.

The aim of the project is to celebrate our diverse community by increasing the cultural vibrancy of Hurstville CBD.

The artwork should respond to the themes of Lunar New Year and the Year of the Ox, linking in with the vision for Hurstville as the Heart of the City.

Please read the guidelines for the full project brief and for how to respond to this EOI.

Please direct any questions you may have about this project to Claire Baddeley, Curator, Hurstville Museum & Gallery on (02) 9330 6444 or cbaddeley@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au
